Description

Define and manage the strategy for the payroll operations function and maintain a payroll risk and crisis management strategy.
Implements maintain and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, other deductions, and disbursement accordingly.
Ensures compliance with law & regulations and internal policies
Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
Calculation and deposit of monthly liability of TDS on salaries.
Preparation & Submission of Quarterly and Annual TDS returns.
Assist in preparing payroll budget, maintaining costs within the budget and necessary data.
Administer benefits including insurance coverage (health & group), bonus, leave encashment, etc.
Process and settle resigned employees’ payments as per statutory.
Coordinate with the bank for day-to-day issues related to payroll.

Educational Qualification:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Finance/Accounting/HR
Certification in Payroll / Reward Management will be an added advantage

Experience Requirements

At least 7 year(s)

Payroll

Additional Requirements

Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficient with payroll software.
