Description
- Perform high-level analysis of financial information/credit data to assess credit-worthiness and financial status of businesses/individuals applying for loans, hence evaluating risk levels and recommend new credit lines, credit limits and loan extensions.
Prime Responsibilities
- Processing credit/investment proposals assigned by the supervisor.
- Ensure credit quality and thereby minimize potential loss to the Bank through a focused and independent analysis of credit risk and in-depth knowledge of markets/industry sectors, simultaneously ensuring timeliness of credit application.
- Analyzing credit proposal through assessment of different risk factors like financial risk, business/industry risk, management risk, scrutiny risk, relationship risk, market risk and prepare credit memo as per approved format and place the memo to reporting authority for recommendation.
- Analysis of borrower, industry, conduct of account, purpose of loans, pricing, ICRR, CIB Report, etc.
- Remain time bound to process credit proposals for recommendation of line manager.
- Ensuring early alert reporting through identification of deteriorating sign at the initial stage.
- Visit client’s factory/outlets as and when required.
- To ensure that the credit proposals comply with the CRM guidelines, and the existing rules and regulations of the Bank and all regulatory authorities and laws of the country.
- Maintaining MIS and systematic filing process to ensure timely and quick accessibility to the necessary file.
- Any other work/responsibility as and when assigned by the supervisor/Management of the Bank.
Education
- Minimum graduate, in relevant background without having 3rd class/division in any examination.
Experience
- At least 4 years
Additional Requirements
- Age 28 to 45 years
- Minimum Four (04) years of work experience in permanent position at Credit Risk Management Division (Corporate/CMSME/Retail Risk) with reputed Banks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in financial analysis & written English.
- Understanding of credit appraisal, financial statement analysis, ICRRS, borrower selection, project financing evaluation, etc.
- Well conversant with Bank Companies Act, Partnership Act, Bankruptcy Act, Bangladesh Artha Rin Adalat Ain, Negotiable Instrument Act, Bangladesh Bank guidelines and other financial laws, etc.
- Adequate computer literacy to work on online software modules & MS Office packages.
- Job Location Head Office, Dhaka.
