Description
- 1. Invoice processing & review:
- Includes checking for approvals, timely payments (after deducting applicable VAT and Tax from invoice), capturing discounts, verifying math, double checking expenses codes, and entering invoices for payment.
- Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
- Providing cash flow information.
- Work with vendors and co-workers to resolve invoice discrepancies and reconcile monthly vendor statements.
- Compliance checking while processing the invoices with proper approval, payment in terms of Purchase Order/agreement
- Monitoring of outstanding liabilities through aging/vendor reconciliation
- 2. Month/year end activities:
- Responsible for month-end activities with proper provisioning.
- GL reconciliation report on monthly basis
- PO and non PO control (delegated procurement) reporting
- Assist Financial Accounting Team to prepare the Financial Statements on monthly & quarterly basis by providing relevant explanation, schedules and IAS & IFRS compatibility.
- 3. Business Partnering:
- As a business partner, understanding the function and relevant activities of relevant department
- Guiding in preparing yearly budget of that department, monitor and reporting of budget
- Guiding in preparing quarterly forecast of relevant department
- Submission of Activity wise cost center report of relevant department
- 4. Liaison with external parties:
- Liaison with Central bank/other relevant authority in paying foreign payments with proper application write up and subsequent follow up.
- Liasion with external vendors for supplier balance confirmation
- 5. Fixed assets management
- Capitalization of fixed assets as per relevant IAS/IFRS
- Calculation of depreciation/amortization
- Maintenance of fixed assets register
- Periodic verification of assets as per asset register
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance Accounts
- Partly qualified CA /ICMA
- Preferred Professional Certification: ICMA
