Description

• Responsible for implementing and complying the legal affairs as per VAT, Tax, Custom and Commercial rules and regulations.
• Co-odinate with RJSC, BIDA, NBR, Customs, City Corporation, Bank and other local authorities.
• Compliance with local and international legal and regulatory requirments.
• Proper calculation of pricing, assess and deduction of applicable VDS & TDS on payments.
• Prepare all kinds of supporting compliance with source VAT & Tax deduction rules.
• Computaion of salary tax and collection of VAT 11 as required and applicable.
• Prepare and provide tax certificate to the supplier and employee.
• Record and maintain the VAT & TDS register, Challan preparation and deposit to the bank.
• Ensure all regulatory reporting deadlines meet up with in the time limit (VAT return, TDS return, Income Tax return, FDI report and all other registration & renewals.
• Must have sufficient knowledge in import & export, international business, Trading, Custom clearing & forwarding, negotiate & finalize with related authority.
• Co-ordinate with custom, vat and others related Govt. Officials, C & F Agents, Banks, Freight Forwarders, and Transport for Export & Import purpose etc.
• Should have adequate knowledge in Industry and export, import policy.
• Execute, monitor and manage L/C related work which include- corresponding with vendors, opening L/C and its amendment, monitoring shipment, document requirement formalities and custom clearing.
• Maintain proper liaison with concerned agencies, shipping line, transport agents, insurance companies, VAT department, production and merchandising department.
• Capable to handle EPB related activities & Prepare documents.
• Perform all import related jobs under Bond License specially In-Bond, Ex-Bond, Allotment, Yearly customs Bond Audit, etc.
• New Bond License issue, Issue & renewal General Bond, Signatory change, Lien Bank inclusion & exclusion etc.
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
• The jobs assigned by the management time to time

Educational Qualification:

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
• Chartered Accountancy Course Completed (CA-CC)

Additional Requirements

• Age 30 to 40 years

• Ability to work under pressure and adaptive to change.
• Excellent communication skills both in English and Bengali.
• Excellent knowledge in MS Office, email and Internet.
