Description

Job Purpose:

  • Design cost-effective and time-efficient distribution excellence models to reach the customer-base and serve them convenience
  • Extract the insides and take corrective measures to improve performance of channel stakeholders
  • Continuous transformation of distribution model structure considering contemporary practices

Key Accountabilities:

Distributors Profitability and Sustainability Development

  • Design and implement the distribution models base on company GTM strategies
  • Standardize distributor operation to ensure maximum reach of product and services in market with a right mix of digital and traditional practices
  • Implementation of digital intervention in distribution models in view of optimize efficiency and re-duce the cost and time of GTM
  • Evaluate and analyze model’s structure and effectiveness in changing environment and suggest leadership team for intervention
  • Design, implement and evaluate different incentive/ support schemes aligning with the GTM strategy for distributor across the channel
  • Manage partner’s profitability and ROI through operational efficiency, implementation of digital initiatives and different support schemes if required
  • Identification of the distributors which are not operationally or culturally fit for the organization and suggest regional S&D team along with sales operation team to discard such partners

Sales Capability Development

  • Identify needs, design training interventions and conduct learning solutions for S&D team to enable with most required skills to perform in market
  • Diagnose individual and team competence gaps across the S&D function to evaluate quality of sales talent pool coordinating with HR talent and performance team
  • Prepare and conduct induction program and exposure for the new joiners in sales coordinating with HR
  • Develop year-long sales and distribution skill development training for the 3P resources including distributor’s sales representatives
  • Develop and prepare campaign briefing, operation module for the learning and training purpose of internal sales forces
  • Establish a culture of performance, knowledge development and sharing through a structured process involving cross functional units and sales

Digitization and Automation

  • In coordination with IT & AI team or assigned vendor develop, maintain and enhance automated system for ROI analysis for partners
  • Implementation of AI and automation in target setting, incentive calculation and performance monitoring for distributors

DIMENSION – Financial Impact: 

  • Analyzing the revenue growth from the implemented initiatives.
  • Knowledge sharing and skill development
  • Cost analysis on operations & effective execution of developed initiatives.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Diversity:

  1. Academic Qualification: Professional Business Degree (BBA/MBA from Reputed University).
  2. Skills required:
  • At least 4 years of work-experience in sales and distribution of a reputed company
  • Experience in sales capability development/ sales training with basic distribution knowledge
  • In-depth knowledge on current market scenario & distribution sales and services management
  • Detail understanding of distribution excellence models and relative cost benefit models / analysis
  • Strong understanding of insights and advance skills on MS Excellent and analytical software
  • Adequate sense of business urgency and importance
  • Proactive, articulated, motivated, organized, a self-starter as a team player
  • Strong capability for interdepartmental coordination.
