Description

The purpose of this position is to support the management information system (MIS) of the community-based intervention (CST) for the project. This position will support prepare planning for collection of data and information about COVID-19 response facilities. S/he will be responsible for maintaining data and information, data analysing, documentation and preparing reports within stipulated timeline. S/he will support orienting the district and sub-district level staff of implementing partners on data requirements and modalities for Covid-19. The incumbent is responsible for synchronizing and supporting development and implementation of MEAL plan, setting performance indicators for this new project. S/he will develop a knowledge management plan, including the identification of KM products and dissemination plan, document data quality assurance (DQA) reviews.

Qualifications and experience

At least 4 years’ experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, Learning, Documentation and MIS, preferably in maternal, new-born and child health related project
Experiences in partnership with MOH&FW, USAID and NGOs would be added value
Excellent knowledge and experience on statistical analysis, database management, data presentation and report writing
Computer proficiency in advanced level MS Excel and statistical analysis package-SPSS is required. GIS is desirable. Web/dashboard programming (JS/ JAVA) skill will be added value.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bangla
Masters Degree, preferably in Information Management/Statistics/Urban and Rural Planning/ Public Health from a recognized university.
