Description

• Sensitize and mobilize targeted beneficiaries for training on S4T, Business selection, planning and management (SPM) modules
• Mentor and coach beneficiaries on best practices of S4T, enterprise development and ensure they are functional and working as per WV principles
• Ensure targeted beneficiaries have business plan and businesses are flourishing
• Work with targeted businesses and support those with promising businesses with startup Grants for their IGA
• In collaboration with Field Officer business development, Field Assistant should work with banks and MFIs to clarify specific requirement for loan/financial services and help farmers to communicate with these buyers to plan and concrete successful completion of transactions –in case a group wants to expand their business through external credit
• Work closely with CFW beneficiaries to ensure their business are functional and being manage well
• Work with Help Desk team to ensure the integration of business practices and Core Humanitarian standard
• Provide consistent and regular business support, mentoring and follow up to enterprises including production support to ensure a successful enterprise
• Support successful business set up including setting up financial records, business plan, dividend policy and profit and loss statement
• Conduct regular scoping of business, identify gaps and take measures to fill the gaps to reduce business mortality
• Support enterprises to have access to loan to ensure expansion or diversification
• Identify opportunities for farm based value addition of products and provide instant training to farmers

Educational Qualification: Bachelor degree in Agribusiness, Business/ Agricultural Marketing

Employment Status: Contractual

Additional Requirements

• Age at least 27 years
• Minimum 1 year’s professional work experience in livelihood humanitarian/ development work including in displacement setting.
• Ability to work in a harsh working environment
• Sensitivity towards emerging conflict in refugee settings
• Good communication, writing, negotiation and facilitation skills
• Good computer skills: Ms Excel, Ms Word
• Self-motivator, having the ability to work with limited supervision
• Ability to work in an innovative environment where plans are developed fast and open for change

• Ability and skills to support activities where both refugee and host communities are involved
• Able to ride a motorcycle with a valid driving/riding license
• Preferably knowledge of Arabic or other relevant local language

Experience: At least 1 year(s)

Age: Age at least 27 years

Job Location: Cox’s Bazar (Teknaf, Ukhia)

Salary: Tk. 45000 (Monthly)
