Description

• Reporting to the Project Manager (Follow guidelines).
• Undertake design project from concept to completion.
• To understand the technical requirements and detailed drawings and be able to explain the same to others.
• Managing team schedules effectively.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, designers, contractors, and vendors.
• Prepare the required material list at the site.
• Check site work status and approve contractor payments.
• Ensure all drawings and information relating to the post holder’s area of work are accurate and up-to-date.
• Direct and supervise day-to-day operations of sub-contractors ensuring appliance of common operational procedures.
• Ensure quality control and testing of work and materials are carried out in accordance with the specification requirements.
• Establish, maintain, and build good relations with clients as well as their representatives and ensure other sub-contractors do likewise.
• Fulfill the role of mentor as and when required.
• Continually develop knowledge of innovative construction techniques and products to develop the business.
• Ensure material requisitions are issued at the proper time to achieve the desired result.
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time.
• Complete site diaries daily.
• To handle material effectively.
• Supervise labor to ensure the proper finishing of work.
