Description:

  • BGMEA is seeking for a Centre Manager to contribute in strategic guidance and input in the program & staff development. The Centre Manager will handle a variety of needful responsibilities within the Centre.
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
  • • Supporting overall center to maintain optimum occupancy on all current programs
  • • Writing strategic and operational documents including periodic reports
  • • Stakeholder analysis, partner identification, maintaining due diligence, project development, agreement implementation, monitoring and evaluation
  • • Coordinating effectively with all running and upcoming programs, operations and finance components of the Centre
  • • Represent CIEOSH to relevant partners/consortia, donors, and coordinating bodies (working groups, cluster s etc.) as and when required
  • • Work with the relevant technical teams and other functions to ensure desired quality, and all mandatory internal documents are in place (internal log frame, internal budget procurement plan, M&E matrix etc.)
  • • Coordinate with Finance and program departments for internal review and clearance of all financial documentation and reporting associated with the sub-grants
  • • Build repo with the stakeholders (Government and NGOs), Donors, academia
  • • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
  • • In-depth knowledge and first-hand experience of working as a coordinator
  • • Sound understanding and capability to empower and develop the capacity of the Innovation Centre
  • • Ability to communicate both in oral and written
  • • Team player, self-motivated and initiative taking, dedicated, creative, resourceful, flexible, energetic and sound judgment
  • • Sound time management with full understanding of matrix management and organizational skills with the ability to handle and delegate multiple tasks; Ability to coordinate and build strong relationships with clients and external actors
  • • Ability to mobilize resources and manage funds; Capacity to work under pressure, manage stress and adapt to rapidly evolving situations
  • • Ability to make corporate presentations
  • • Through understanding about the RMG industry
  • • Ability to work with less supervision
  • • Demonstrates creativity, openness to change and ability to manage complexities

Educational Qualification:

  • Academic Qualifications:
  • • Advanced degree in relevant fields such as Fashion Designing/Business Administration/Development studies etc.
  • • Educational background on MBA/ relevant degree will be considered as an added advantage.
  • Years of experience:
  • • At least five (5) years’ professional experience in relevant field. This can be relaxed if other competencies are well demonstrated
  • • Track record of providing services to some leading national or international companies
