Responsibilities & Context
Update the management about any new development in the legislations, regulations or policies that may impact the business of the company and take necessary actions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory legal requirements.
Maintain communication and follow up with government/regulatory authorities, external consultants, law enforcement agencies, external law chambers etc., for ensuring legal compliance.
Coordinate with various government agencies for investigation matters as required.
Draft and/or vet contracts, agreements, MOUs, legal notices, replies, other notices, processes, trade letters, other letters as and when required.
Conduct business negotiation with third parties conforming that the company’s legal interest is protected.
Provide legal opinion to the company as and when required.ü Scrutinize legal documents and ensure that everything is in accordance with approved and prescribed formats.
liaison and complete official tasks at different government offices as and when required by the company.
Prepare and circulate official meeting minutes.
Responsibly conduct all assigned tasks in coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Any other tasks assigned by the line manager/department head.
