Description

Ensure that vacancy announcements are standardized and are in line with benchmark for each position.
Arrange internal and external job vacancy advertisements to attract a pool of potential candidates.
Ensure short listing of candidates using standard CV evaluation and criteria.
Ensure that interview invitations, along with job descriptions and preliminary job application forms, are issued and dispatched timely.
Ensure that coding system for the interview process is properly implemented.
Help administer suitable tests and interviews and participate in the Interview Board for selecting best candidates.
Ensure that job offers and appointment letters are issued to finally selected candidates on agreed time frame.
Conduct salary negotiation discussions and reference checking process as deemed necessary for external candidates.
Assist the Cox’s Bazar Field Office Sr. HR Officer in line with recruitment policy of the mission.
Ensure relevant scoring criteria are followed and test formats are used according to set HR standard of the mission for relevant positions.
Prepare short-term contracts and apprenticeship contracts, as and when needed.
Review requests from Project/Programs of Cox’s Bazar Field Office for staff requirement.
Prepare and submit reports on staff recruitment and status changes.
Represent HRM in the interview board members for selecting staff when needed.
Form Interview Board members with diverse representation in consultation with the concerned projects and department.
Anti-terrorism checking through Bridger on-line and documentation.

Educational Qualification: Masters in any discipline, preferably PGD in Personnel Management / MBA in HRM.

Employment Status: Contractual

Additional Requirements

3 to 4 years’ experience in Human Resources Management functions, especially recruitment.
Excellent communication skills both in oral and written English and Bangla.
Computer skills in Word Processing, Database Management.
Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills.
Sound knowledge in recruitment, selection and placement.
Ability to deal with people from diverse perspectives.
Ability to prioritize, plan and organize work – essential.
