  • Ensure that vacancy announcements are standardized and are in line with benchmark for each position.
  • Arrange internal and external job vacancy advertisements to attract a pool of potential candidates.
  • Ensure short listing of candidates using standard CV evaluation and criteria.
  • Ensure that interview invitations, along with job descriptions and preliminary job application forms, are issued and dispatched timely.
  • Ensure that coding system for the interview process is properly implemented.
  • Help administer suitable tests and interviews and participate in the Interview Board for selecting best candidates.
  • Ensure that job offers and appointment letters are issued to finally selected candidates on agreed time frame.
  • Conduct salary negotiation discussions and reference checking process as deemed necessary for external candidates.
  • Assist the Cox’s Bazar Field Office Sr. HR Officer in line with recruitment policy of the mission.
  • Ensure relevant scoring criteria are followed and test formats are used according to set HR standard of the mission for relevant positions.
  • Prepare short-term contracts and apprenticeship contracts, as and when needed.
  • Review requests from Project/Programs of Cox’s Bazar Field Office for staff requirement.
  • Prepare and submit reports on staff recruitment and status changes.
  • Represent HRM in the interview board members for selecting staff when needed.
  • Form Interview Board members with diverse representation in consultation with the concerned projects and department.
  • Anti-terrorism checking through Bridger on-line and documentation.

Educational Qualification: Masters in any discipline, preferably PGD in Personnel Management / MBA in HRM.

Employment Status: Contractual

Additional Requirements

  • 3 to 4 years’ experience in Human Resources Management functions, especially recruitment.
  • Excellent communication skills both in oral and written English and Bangla.
  • Computer skills in Word Processing, Database Management.
  • Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge in recruitment, selection and placement.
  • Ability to deal with people from diverse perspectives.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and organize work – essential.
