  • Ensure fund flows of the project, tracking of expenditure trends in accordance with the budget provision.
  • Checking all bill vouchers, prepare accounting voucher and update day to day financial records in tally software.
  • Prepare financial reports (monthly and annually) as requirement.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits.
  • Maintain stock register, receive project materials and disburse material to school and staff.
  • Regular visit to schools to check the school’s stock and financial activities at field level.
  • Advise, develop and coordinate the preparation, analysis and review of project budget.
  • Participate in program as required.
  • Provide necessary administrative and logistic support.

Educational Qualification:

  • Master’s in commerce; Major in Accounting will get preference.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 year(s)

Additional Requirements

  • Age at most 40 years
  • 5 years working experiences in donor funded project.
  • Advance knowledge in accounting concept and book-keeping.
  • Practical knowledge in keeping accounting books with accounting software.
  • Capable of managing project financial management independently.
  • Ability to prepare all types of vouchers, checking bill-invoices.
  • Knowledge of standard procurement system.
  • Knowledge in financial reporting system.
  • Capable of facilitating the internal and external audit.
  • Excellent knowledge in budgeting and budgetary control.
  • Proficient in computer skills in MS office and must have very well in MS-Excel.
  • Sound knowledge about primary education in Bangladesh.
  • Excellent skills in team management, good planning and coordinating and presentation.
  • Knowledge in office administration.
  • Excellent analytical skills; excellent in team work, networking and communication.
  • Excellent communication skill in both verbal and written in English and Bangla, capable to prepare report both of English and Bangla.
  • Motivation in working with Adivasi & Non-adivasi poor people in remote areas.
  • Aware and sensitive regarding gender issues and respect for diversity.
