Description

Implement the necessary measures to improve the refractory usage and quality.
Coordinate and consult with other dept. to ensure efficient operation
Continuous monitoring of QEAF process and slag condition monitoring during melting.
Ensure proper circulation of ladles for smooth operation
Daily shop floor consumption/stock monitoring & maintaining optimum shop floor stock for smooth operation.
Refractory All activities record maintain.
Effective implement of analytical thinking to optimize consumption
Issue refractory materials from store to lining section.
Continuous monitoring of Ladle during LF operation at LRF.
Ensure proper purging effectiveness of ladle in slide gate by lancing/cleaning/monitoring
Supervising of all refractory material handling.
Ensure effective refractory planning.
Ensure effective utilization of refractory resources require for production.
Ladle preparation, slide gate maintains, purging check, lining check.
Tundish management (preparation, drying & on time delivery to caster).
QEAF preparation, lining and on time delivery to operation
Provide training and develop subordinates.
Follow up safety related issues like ensuring PPE, Work permit, regulate hazard identification and elimination

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Glass and Ceramic Engineering
