Description

• Have professional practical knowledge about check-in operations
• Should know all the procedure of check-in operations both in manually and in software
• Prior to check-in operations, should know the reservation operations
• Should be professional in correspondence and reservations over letter, mail and fax
• Should know the registration process, reservations or any walk-in with formalities
• To be readily capable to handle guest’s demand, problems or any complaints.
• Communication level should be high with two or more languages like English & any others.
• To ensure that rooms have been serviced and maintained to the standards laid down by the Company.
• Should have experience to work with front office and housekeeping if required
• To ensure effective liaison between reservations and front office staff with other departments
• To ensure that all charges are correctly entered on the guest’s bill and that this is up to date at all times.
• Keep the Hotel standard of service toward guest at all times
• Ensure Guest satisfaction with etiquette and manners
• Should be well groomed and sense of hygiene to maintain with English speaking all the times
• Should be well known in night auditing on rooms and work in three shifts
• Special and other responsibilities as assigned by the management.
• Should be well physical structure and well conversant with staffs and guests of the hotel
• Post charges to guest accounts.
• Handles paid-outs.
• Transfer guest balances to other accounts as required.
• Cashes checks for guests following the approval policy.
• Completes guest check-out procedures.
• Settles guest accounts.
• Dispenses guest records after the guest checkout
• Handles cash, traveller’s cheque, credit cards and direct billing requests properly.
• Posts non-guest ledger payments.
• Balances department totals at the close of the shift.
• Balances cash at the close of the shift.
• Manages safe deposit boxes.
• Assists Front desk staff on check in as and when required.
