Description
- Manage quality control inspection process from inline through to final inspections
- Support the team of 5-7 inspectors, by guiding & training; Auditing the team’s performance to follow up with ability to give directions and plans across Bangladesh, India, Pakistan
- Monitor the production by performing in-line inspection & follow up CAP with root cause analysis and troubleshooting capability by providing technical support to supplier in production area and quality management system
- Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.
- Carry out risk assessment of products and solve the quality technical problems with suppliers at early stage of production
- Assign 3rd party inspection companies and perform inspection audits when required
- Train factory in-house QC to prevent quality issues prior to final inspections
- Lead implementation of digital inspections tools & processes
Requirements:
- Degree in textile engineering or equivalent production management and quality management experience in similar role
- 7-10 years’ experience in apparel production management, quality assurance management and inspection process.
- Experience in woven & knitted fabric and garments starting from weaving, dyeing, printing, seizing through to garment manufacturing
- 80% travelling in factories
- Able to travel to India and Pakistan
- Hands-on and able to work under pressure
- Excellent organization, leadership and good communication skills
