Description

U.S. Embassy Dhaka is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Human Resources Assistant.

This position is offering technology, data, and analytical support to the Human Resources Office. The incumbent administers all HR technology, ensures current data is accurate, and provides reporting as needed. This position also develops new HR applications and maintains existing HR technology. Maintains relations with numerous host government agencies and officials for processing diplomatic visas and accreditation for all US personnel at post. Processes diplomatic correspondence, memoranda, arrival and departure notes, identification cards, visas, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Social Science or IT is required. (You must attach a copy of your bachelor’s degree certificate along with your application form.)
• Three years of work experience in Administrative, Human Resources, or technology administration is required.
• Level 4 English and Bangla ability is required. This may be tested.
• Excellent computer skills including Windows office applications, relational databases, and web development. Must have good communication skills to be tactful but effective in dealing with internal (FSN and American employees) and external customers (Ministry of Foreign Affairs). Should possess good judgment.
