Background: The Advancing Universal Health Coverage (AUHC) Activity, implemented by Chemonics International, is USAID-funded initiative to assist the goals of the Government of Bangladesh to significantly expand access to safe, affordable and quality health services, while increasing financial protection, particularly of the poor, in support of the Government of Bangladesh’s National Health Care Financing Strategy (2012-2032), under which Universal Health Coverage is a key priority.

Purpose: AUHC is recruiting for a short-term (4 months) Business Intelligence Developer to work remotely. This position will assist the AUHC Data Manager to build and develop the entire AUHC business intelligence system. This position will require to design and build AUHC databases and automate data loading process to data warehouse including data validation system.

Description

Datawarehouse design and implementation for AUHC data. Define Maintenance and Backup strategy for the data warehouse.
Build automated ETL Job to populate AUHC monthly data in data warehouse.
Build automated ETL job to validate clinic level data. Set automated process to report monthly validation results to the project team.
Develop robust and automated Business Intelligence system to visualize AUHC indicators and project results.
Design and develop training database. Set strategy to populate data into the training database and build data visualization dashboard.
Collaborate with Data Manager intensively regarding work distribution, planning and work management to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

A degree in computer science engineering or another relevant degree.
A minimum of 3 years experience working with SQL Server, and Analytical Services.
A minimum of 3 years applicable experience working with an ETL system such as Pentaho Data Integration, SSIS.
A least 4 years experience working with business intelligence tools like PowerBI, Tableau or a similar tool.
A minimum of 4 years of experience working with Pentaho Report Designer, Crystal Report or a similar application.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with a minimum amount of supervision.
Able to travel in the country
