Description
- The Producer will be involved in the entire production process, right from the conceptualization to scripting and editing to the final distribution.
- Generate ideas, research and develop the content, select the audio, and also contact potential contributors and interviewees.
- Design the schedule, handle the recording and editing, maintain standards
- Work with Internews project staff to manage production of the narrowcast show
- Train and manage Internews community correspondents to produce the program
- Ensure the production cycle and deadlines are met
- Liaise with local stakeholders to broadcast the audio episodes
- Manage Listeners’ Groups for wider dissemination of audio content
- Ensure that the broadcast is of a suitably high quality and compliant with any applicable broadcasting regulations
- Help organize training workshops with foreign trainers/consultants as necessary
- Support Internews project activity as required

Experience Requirements
- At least 4 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Copy writing/ Script Writing, Producer, Audio Editor
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Radio, Film Production
Additional Requirements
- At least 4 years with any FM Radio or Community Radio. Involvement in multimedia production will also be accepted
- The candidate must have strong editing skills in software such as Audition and Audacity
- Editorial skills including script-writing experience is necessary
- Candidates from the Chittagong region will be preferred
