Job Description

1- Deployment, configuration, and optimization of VMware technologies including vCenter Server, ESXi, vMotion, High Availability (HA), Fault Tolerance (FT), virtual networking, VMware Update Manager (VUM), physical to virtual migrations, Storage vMotion, and VMware vRealize Suite.

2- Configuring and managing ESXi, Virtual Storage, Software iSCSI, NFSDatastore, vSphere HA.

3- Administering Microsoft technologies including Windows Server (NT, 2000, 2003, 2008, 2012), Active Directory.

4- Data De-duplication & Compression, cloning and provision storage as quickly as possible, Backing up and Restoring VMs.

5- HP Blades: Installation and configuring, remotely install Windows Operating system and ESXi, manage and troubleshoot.

6- Taking backup and restoring files, using Veeam.

7- Disaster recovery (DR): Managing DR site .

8- Installation, Configuration and Management of SAN/NAS.

9- Configuring and administering a wide range of network services and protocols including Ethernet, TCP/IP, switching, routing, DHCP, SMTP, NFS, iSCSI, and DNS.

10- Under general supervision implements the unified cyber security policy in Datacenter.

11- Demonstrate technical expertise in Virtualization, Storage, anti-Virus, Centralizaed patching.

12- Evaluates business and technical requirements; driving the selection, prototyping and implementation of technical solutions; and effectively communicating inherent security risks to management

VMware, Storage, Active Directory, Backup and Recovery, Blade Servers, Storage Area Networks, Network Attached Storage, Windows Server Troubleshooting, AD Authentication Troubleshooting, Monitoring Virtual Infrastructure, System Updating and patching technologies, Anti-Virus Technologies, Communication with vendors on technical support.

Good in:

English communication, Documentation preparation, Technical Design documents, TCP/IP protocol, SAN protocols, NAS protocols, Advanced Active Directory configurations, Cloud Management Platform experience (VMware vRealize Automation), Network/Systems monitoring experience (VMware Operation Manager) and Disaster Recovery implementations.

Education

A 4 years Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or Management Information Systems
