This position will be responsible for managing the continuous casting machine process of the Re-Rolling & Steel Plant and will report to the plant head.

Job Description:

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance of the continuous casting process in a steel production facility to ensure enough resources on hand.
• Ensure optimal production efficiency, maintaining high product quality, and adhering to safety and environmental standards.
• Manage and train a team of operators and technicians, while also ensuring the continuous casting machine operates smoothly
• Plan workers’ schedules, estimate costs and prepare budgets to ensure workflow meets required deadlines.
• Supervise the casting process, implement quality control measures, troubleshoot equipment issues, optimize production processes for efficiency, and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments and regularly report on machine performance, production outcomes, and operational improvements.
• Track daily breakdowns, implement preventive maintenance programs to improve the efficiency of the system or the equipment undergoing maintenance.
