Description
The purpose of the job is to manage the Finished Goods Warehouse and Distribution Operations of a renowned Tiles Factory of the country.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Warehouse Management and Distribution strategy in collaboration with Sales and production management.
- Develop Plan and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to ensure efficient warehouse management.
- Plan, organize and manage operation shifts to ensure customer order fulfillment in time
- Monitor both inward and outward stock movement whilst maintaining accuracy and integrity of the store’s inventory records including all associated documentation and record keeping.
- Setup layout planning to ensure efficient space utilization and faster delivery.
- Ensure Occupational Health, Safety and Environment, and Risk management programs with regulatory compliance.
- Manage loading and unloading operations to enhance efficiency and control the customer complaint. Identify & segregate of damaged, expired, rejected, redundant, nonmoving or unusable stock and managing their disposal in time as per company policy.
- Ensure the effective utilization of company resources and the availability of the appropriate number of vehicles by helping to identify and prioritize the need for maintenance, repair, and capital improvements and managing budgets based on facilities.
- Assess incidents, complaints, and/or accidents for the purpose of resolving or recommending a resolution to the situation and submit the reports to the management.
- Report daily/weekly basis on Warehouse and Distribution performance, and drive continuous improvement through KAIZAN, 5S, Six Sigma and ensure operational excellence.
- Plan and execute inventory physical counting on a monthly basis, and stock reconciliation with book balance. Support Inventory Audit and get approval from H/O for adjustment.
- Manage and supervise staffs, organizing work shift roasters, monitoring team performance through coordinating staff training required for smooth operations.
Experience Requirements
- At least 12 year(s)
Educational Requirements
- Masters degree in any discipline
- Bachelor degree holders with adequate experience can also apply.
Additional Requirements
- Age at least 35 years
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in using inventory management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Knowledge of supply chain principles, production processes, and procurement strategies.
