This role in the Automobile section of Akij Glass Industries Ltd, will play the vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of vehicles and optimizing transportation logistics and maintenance, repair, and optimization of our automobile fleet to ensure smooth transportation of goods and personnel. The role involves proactive problem-solving, regular inspections, and implementing preventive maintenance measures to enhance the lifespan and performance of our vehicles. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and efficient utilization of our automobile resources and encompass various tasks to enhance our operational efficiency effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the company’s fleet of vehicles, ensuring regular maintenance, repairs, and compliance with safety standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize transportation logistics, minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.
• Lead and motivate a team of automobile technicians and drivers, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
• Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source high-quality automobile parts and services at competitive prices.
• Assist in budget preparation, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols related to automobile operations.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inventory, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and implement best practices in automobile management.
• Generate regular reports on fleet performance, maintenance activities, and key performance indicators for management review.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities on the company’s automobiles to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns and enhance the longevity of the vehicles.
