Description
- ASA International Group Plc a London Stock Exchange (LSE) listed Company established as ‘Greenfield’ microfinance operations in India, Pakistan, The Philippines, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Myanmar, Zambia and Sierra Leone with having 1,812 branches and gross loan portfolio of USD 419.5 million. Each of these institutions is owned and managed by ASA International and built from the ground with the support of ASA Bangladesh under a technical service agreement. We are seeking to fill a senior position in the Investment & Treasury department with an intelligent, experienced, long term committed and self-motivated energetic individual.
Job Responsibilities:
§ Analyzing loan term sheets from international lenders to prepare the comparative statement and internal memo.
§ Responsible for drafting, reviewing and finalizing loan agreements with ASAI subsidiaries;
§ Carryout cost analysis of third-party loan and tracking update all loan in different countries;
§ Carryout and analyzing financial and non-financial reports for lenders and investors.
§ Coordinate all fund transfer between ASAI and other subsidiaries.
§ Carryout cost analysis of hedging products by commercial banks and specialized organization;
§ Oversee and communicating with the subsidiary on a regular basis to ensure smooth management of hedging activities. Tracking and reporting hedging updates in different countries.
§ Analysis of monthly MIS and portfolio reports;
§ Carryout and assist in preparing ASAIH and subsidiaries board documents;
§ Maintain good communication with third-party stakeholders and collect all invoices of ASA International Holdings (ASAI) from them. Crosscheck all invoices, process necessary documents for approval.
§ Carryout and assist in preparing monthly treasury report.
§ Actively engaged with the Director – Investment & Treasury in preparing Idiots Guide for financial and non-financial covenant reports.
§ Any other tasks assigned by the Director – Investment & Treasury from time to time.
Educational Requirements:
MBA/ Post-graduation having major in Finance/ Accounting from a reputed University. Candidates having a relevant foreign degree are highly encouraged to apply.
Experience Requirements:
§ At least 5 years in the relevant field.
§ Bangladeshi nationals working abroad but want to relocate Bangladesh may also apply.
§ The applicants should have experience in the following business areas;
§ Banks, Investment & Merchant Bank, Micro-credit, Multinational Company, Group of Company, and Financial Institutions, etc.
Age limit: At best 45 years
Additional Requirements:
§ Good understanding of international investment and loan agreements;
§ Strong Knowledge and understanding of MIS reporting and financial analysis;
§ Excellent report writing and communication skills;
§ Excellent skills in MS Office.
§ An analytical mind with a strategic ability
§ Outstanding organizational and people management skills

BDT 200,000 per month (Negotiable)
