Job Title: Head of Special Asset Management Division
Job Title: Head of Special Asset Management Division
Job Grade: Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP)
Job Location: Corporate Office
Job description/Responsibilities:
- Supervise the regularization and recovery of non-performing loans (NPL) & written-off loans of the bank.
- Manage the NPLs of the Bank and keep the CL percentage at tolerable level as desired by Management.
- Supervise and monitor the units of the division for their time bound action towards meeting the annual recovery of classified loans as well as written-off loans of the bank.
- Supervise all the activities of legal wings of the division to get favorable verdict in Bank’s favor at shortest possible time that the defaulters/guarantors will be pressurized to come forward for settlement or liquidate their collaterals.
- Conduct negotiation and persuasion of all sorts of defaulters of the bank for recovery/settlement/written-off loans.
- Ensure all regulatory returns and compliance as well as any other demands by the Management and Board as well as other regulatory authorities.
- Deal with the internal, external and regulatory audit and inspection as well as overseas partners.
- Maintain the compliance of the division as per requirement of the Management.
Educational Qualification: Master’s in any discipline preferably in business background with good academic record. Sound knowledge and proven track record in all areas of banking operations.
Job Experience: At least 20 (twenty) years’ and above experience in any reputed private commercial bank and present position should not be below Executive Vice President or equivalent.

Job description/Responsibilities:
- Lead the Branches under the jurisdiction of Zonal Office, towards attaining/delivering the annual business targets
- Ensure that the businesses are managed in line with the Bank’s policy and Risk parameters
- Plan, initiate, and execute marketing strategies to achieve target
- Ensure quality of assets and recovery of classified loans
- Constantly review the effectiveness of the team’s effort in terms of reducing cost and increasing profitability
- Plan, organize, implement and monitor acquisition of new clients and retention of existing clients
- Bridge between the Branch and the Corporate Office
- Coordinate between various internal divisions of Corporate Office (such as Business, Risk, Operation, HR etc.)
- Ensure compliance of various internal policies and regulator’s instruction
- Ensure team building among the members of the branches and motivate the members of the branches and sales team
- Chair Cluster/Zonal meeting at least once in a month to review performance and service standard of branches
