Description
- Direct and control quality assurance activities of the company
- Ensure that quality standards are well communicated throughout the company.
- Direct and monitor pilot runs before bulk production begins, providing strategies and directives on product quality.
- Ensure that each quality assurance process meets the parameters established by the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Manage the troubleshooting of any issues that may arise in bulk production, directing the solutions to quality assurance team.
- Ensure preventive measures are taken to ensure issues do not recur.
- Monitor and control all material quality issues and highlight to management. Prepare supplier performance feedback based on material quality reports and circulate to management.
- Ensure that proper processes are followed throughout the production chain to ensure quality.
- Ensure that staff and workers are trained on the quality requirements of the customer.
- Analyze and monitor quality reports from material inspection, cutting, sewing and finishing directing and managing solutions for any systemic and process quality issues. Provide analysis of quality reports and highlight key issues to management.
- Ensure that audit procedures prescribed by the buyer are followed by RQS (Requirement of Quality System) Manager.
- Monitor training of staff on quality and nurturing awareness of quality.
- Ensure that quality assurance teams work towards continuous improvement of quality of products and minimizing rework due to quality.
- Manage and organize manpower budget for quality department.
- Ensure retention and growth for key personnel in quality department.
- Ensure that product safety requirements are met.
- Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedure for the Quality Department.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor degree in any discipline
- Industrial Engineering / Textile will be preferable
Employment Status: Full-time
Additional Requirements
- Age 32 to 45 years
- Expert in problem solving techniques
- Pattern/Fitting & Garments Construction Knowledge a must.
- Man Management Skill / Knowledge in Denim Products Especially Super Stretch Fabrics a must
- Communication skills/Decision making/Team orientation
- Proficient in English with good communication Skills
- Should be proficient in MS Office, E-mail & Data analysis/Presentation
Experience:
- 12 to 16 year(s)
