We are seeking an experienced, and self-motivated colleague who will work as Consortium Coordinator for Ekota Consortium.

About Ekota Consortium

Ekota consists of three partners in Bangladesh-Caritas Bangladesh, Christian Aid and RDRS Bangladesh. Under the broad institutional framework of AHP, CAN DO partners are contributing to the DFAT’s international efforts to meet humanitarian and protection needs and increase resilience and self-reliance of Rohingya and host communities in Bangladesh. Keeping line with the DFAT’s expected outcomes CAN DO partners intervene in providing community-based protection, and improving WASH facilities in the Rohingya camps, and re-vegetation, disaster risk reduction and livelihood development both in the camps and nearby host communities in Ukhiya, Ramu, Moheshkhali and Cox’sBazar Sadar Upazila of Cox’s Bazar District. The three years project started in July 2020 and will end in June 2023. The consortium partners are being coordinated by a Consortium Coordination Unit (CCU). The unit is consisted of a Consortium Coordinator, MEAL Specialist, Advocacy & Communication Specialist, Inclusion Specialist and Livelihood Specialist. The consortium unit has been hosted by the implementing partner based on the Chair in the Ekota Dhaka Steering Committee. Caritas Bangladesh is hosting the coordination unit in 2022 and subsequently will be handed over to RDRS Bangladesh in 2023.

About you

You will thrive as the Consortium Coordinator, if you are strong at:

Leadership and strategic planning in implementing humanitarian projects in a complex consortium arrangement.
Providing program information and analysis that articulates the consortium’s programmatic delivery position in light of internal and external targets, results and priorities.
Designing, planning, monitoring, reviewing and reporting using Project Cycle Management approach and sector tools such as Theory of Change and Logical Frameworks.
Highly organized with the ability to manage large, complex pieces of work with multiple stakeholders and to produce key deliverables on time.
Demonstrated ability to work and coordinate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders, including national and local government, donors, community-based organizations, camp and host community and the private sector.

About your next role

The Consortium Coordinator will be responsible for the overall coordination and management of the AHP Bangladesh Rohingya Response Program of Ekota consortium (consisting of three agencies Caritas Bangladesh, RDRS and Christian Aid) and serve as the consortium focal point. The consortium coordinator will ensure quality program implementation, including providing strategic guidance to consortium partners and overseeing budget management of the CCU, performance management, M&E, partnership management, and relationships with external actor including other AHP partners, different technical working groups, Steering Committee members, government authorities, humanitarian actors, and staff. S/he will be responsible for maintaining regular contact with all consortium partners and the donor.

ToR of the Consortium Coordinator is enclosed. The position in the will be based in Caritas Bangladesh in 2022 and subsequently to RDRS Bangladesh in 2023.

Remuneration:
Consolidated Salary: BDT 220,000-240,000 (Per Month). Bonus and Mobile Allowance as per host agency’s policy.
