Description
The role plays a critical responsibility of nurturing innovation culture throughout the organization. The person will be responsible to find out, mentor, train and get any employee in Grameenphone to pursue their idea/innovation projects through the right governance module. S/he will have to design and execute programs and also ensure every innovation projects get due attention and support Digital division as well as in the organization.
Job Responsibility:
- Up-skill the team on Lean Startup and Design Thinking approaches.
- Provide project-specific coaching and advice in line with the new Product Development process and operating model
- Conduct regular reviews with incubation managers to understand and advise on deliveries, methodologies and roadmaps.
- Design exploration process and define success/failure metrics for each phase. Measure and documents success/failures, bottlenecks for all project teams
- Plan, organize, and implement a continuum of professional learning opportunities for all team members.
- Implement company strategy in incubation projects and steer outcomes accordingly.
- Keep up to date with global best practices of incubation/product development and ensure those are applied in day to day working culture.
- Conduct trainings across company to align cross functional teams with working culture and methodologies.
- Connect contemporary thought leaders and practitioners with the work of innovation inside the team.
- Design and train how to use toolkits needed in all phases of exploration by the incubation project teams.
- Seek and share newly learned professional knowledge and practices with others.
- Activate and coach incubation managers so that they become change agents in their own teams.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, Business Administration or equivalent degree from a reputed institution.
- At least 2 years of Experience in an Innovation Coach, Mentor or Trainer role.
- 3-5 years of experience with project management with an extensive team (particularly complex products)
- Proven achievement of major innovative/innovation successes.
- Must have experience in implementing Lean Startup and Design Thinking process and ways of working.
Special Skill Requirements:
- Experienced action-researcher with capacity to support the design and facilitation of teacher research and in the development of local case studies.
- Implements strong leadership and collaboration skills through coaching techniques.
- Critical thinking and analytical ability.
- Demonstrates passion for working with adult learners. Seeks out opportunities to collaborate and build relationships easily.
- Product & project management tools (JIRA, trello etc).
- Has to have a Growth mindset & able to facilitate effective brainstorming.
- Challenge conventional thinking and processes.
- Compile and summarize relevant published materials.
- Demonstrates exemplary classroom practices and possesses a deep understanding of technology integration and quality learning principles
- Good interpersonal and persuasive communication skill
