Description

The role of Deputy Managing Director is to assist, for achieving the company objective, in all management and development activities, the Managing Director in his role of providing visionary and strategic leadership to the company. He will be innovative individual with well developed interpersonal and communication skills. He is required to be a strong negotiator and capable decision maker having strong analytical and problem solving capabilities. He will proactively identify new business opportunities relevant to the company.
S/he will report to the Managing Director.

Formulate and implement corporate policy as approved by the Board and develop operating procedures for quality service delivery.
Undertake strategic business planning and participate and contribute to all matters of decision-making.
Develop new business and see through successful implementation that will gradually expand and reach the goal of the company.
Plan, implement and monitor strategic financial and treasury objectives of the company. Oversee and manage all internal and external financial performance and participate in developing the IT structure of the company.
Oversee and ensure timely and cost effective short term and long term funding for financing investment and profit growth from investment and treasury operations of the company by managing liquidity risk, maturity risk, interest rate risk, exchange risk and credit risk keeping in mind the predetermined target and policy.
Competency in planning, organizing and controlling day-to-day activities of the bank and coordinates inter-departmental functional activities.

Additional Requirements

Age at most 50 years

At least 15 years of work experience in Bank/NBFI with at least 3 years’ experience as Executive Vice President /Deputy Managing Director/ immediate below position to the CEO.
Post-graduation in any discipline preferably in Economics, Banking, Finance and Business Administration from any reputed educational Institution(s).
Age not over 50 years as on 21/01/2024. The age limit may be relaxed for highly qualified and deserving candidates.
Excellent presentation and communication skills in both Bangla and English.
Should be well trained in computer applications e.g. MS Excel, MS Word, Power Point.
