Description

Collaborates with dentists, orthodontists, and other dental lab technicians
Read specifications, and prescriptions and examine impressions or models to determine the design of dental products to be developed
Builds and repairs dental appliances
Makes crowns and bridges, full and partial dentures, dental implants, mouthguards, orthodontics, and other dental appliances.
Uses common dental lab tools, including porcelain ovens and furnaces, pinning equipment, and lathes
Managing supply inventories, performing routine equipment maintenance, and facilitating repairs
Documenting processes, as well as adhering to regulation and safety standards
Experience on administering dental x-rays
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Educational Qualification:

The candidate must have Diploma in Dental Technology from any government-approved institute with a minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd class/ division or equivalent result in all academic examinations.
