Institute of Water Modelling (IWM) is an independent Trust established by the Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh providing specialist services to the Government, national and international agencies in the field of water modelling, computational hydraulics and allied sciences. Description
- Updating daily financial transaction into software and produce report to the management.
- • Maintain bank books.
- • Maintain project wise advance scenario.
- • Communicate with PL/PS or concerned person for the adjustment of advance.
- • Complete all formalities for issuing cheques from official bank account.
- • Maintain and prepare all accounts related works with Gratuity and Provident Fund. • Continuous update of receivable statement.
- • Keep all relevant documents ready for realizing a receivable.
- • Visit to some clients for realizing the receivable.
- • Visit to field on internal audit purpose as and when required.
- • Prepare monthly salary and annual budget.
- • Maintain budgetary control and calculate the variance.
- • Calculate individual payroll tax.
- • Contribute at the time of Inventory.
- • Maintain VAT and Tax related books and accounts.
- • Complete the task which would be assigned from time to time from the Management or from the Supervisor.
Required qualifications and experience: Educational requirements: Masters degree in Finance/ Accounting/ MBA (Major Finance), CMA (Inter completed), CA (CC) Experience requirements: • Minimum 5 (five) years practical experience in accounts & finance, fair knowledge in computerized accounting system. • Candidates having experience with international organizations/ NGOs / donor agencies will be highly preferred;
Additional requirements:
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skill;
- • Good command over MS office package and relevant accounting software.
- • The incumbent must have a can-do attitude and excellent interpersonal skill;
- • Excellent command over English (written and spoken) and in Bangla is highly desired;
- • Must be able to multi- task and have a mindset to work under pressure.
Salary : Attractive remuneration package will be offered to the highly deserving candidates.
