Description

• Overall responsibility for Purchasing, Cost Estimating activities, and contribute to overall business strategy and annual budget process.
• Ensure that purchasing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality, and delivery targets.
• Negotiate contract terms with key suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards, and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders if appropriate
• Receive purchase/procurement orders and requests through formal procurement requisitions and identify the requirements of goods/services, justify specifications.
• Categorize goods and items, visit market frequently, select proper Vendors, inspect companies- dealers and searching markets for new sources.
• Sending RFQs, collecting quotations, prepare comparative analysis; go for negotiation and issue supply orders.
• Inspection and acceptance of goods, verification of invoices and submission of payment requests.
• Involve in direct purchase through spot quotations following the rules of procurement.
• Obtaining goods in right time at a cost effective price and work closely with the store officers in receiving goods through MRR.
• Liaison with outsourcing companies in connection with Bulk Procurement.
• Monitor price to control outsourcing compared with market and make recommendation for future procurement.
• Ensure full compliance of procurement activities with the SPP procurement rules and procedures.
• Provide cooperation to the end users to meet their actual requirements.
• Files all procurement related documents for audit trial and future references.
• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.
