Description
- Assist/Develop a risk-based annual audit plan through continuous assessment of internal and external business risk
- Execute audit plan within the budgeted time and cost as well as based on department guidelines and standards
- Develop process maps, conducts testing, and assists with the preparation of audit reports
- Consults with clients in developing action plans to resolve related control issues and risks; handles the resolution of identified issues with management
- Monitor progress and adequacy of actions taken to rectify audit issues
- Assist the Head of Internal Audit in all functional and administrative matters as and when required
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with the process owners and business management to help improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal controls and business processes.
- Coordinate with the other control and monitoring functions
- Perform a comprehensive program of audit activities including financial/compliance audits, operational and special assignments of a highly complex and/or sensitive nature and reports results to the IA Management.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strong verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly learn new areas of the business by applying solid foundation and understanding of internal controls and general business practices
- Strong audit practices to design, implement, and document test of controls using manual, automated, and advanced techniques and approache
- Produce quality deliverables that meet the team, department, and professional standards
- Stay abreast of key regulations and be able to assess their impact on the internal audit process
- Collaborate cross-functionally
- Effectively tailor messaging to varying audiences
- Understand a wide range of products, business processes and systems
- Strong accounting and auditing background with IT knowledge and Data Analytics capability
- Strong project management skills
- The ability to work to deadlines
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
- Graduation/Post Graduation in Accounting/Business Administration from any reputed University.
- Chartered Accountant/Partly Qualified
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
- 6-8 years of relevant experience
