Description
- SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT
- Develop, hone and execute new improved procurement strategies across all channels of purchasing
- Plan and manage the overall procurement of consumable materials, local & imported in a cost effective manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and products’ specifications
- Monitor all kinds of purchase orders, entire purchase cycle and keep proper documentation in accordance with the policies and procedures of the company.
- Supervise & monitor all the procurement activities as per cooperative Acts & Rules.
- Ensure maximum satisfaction of the stakeholders by providing the right products at the right time and optimum value for money.
- Prepare, maintain and update category wise vendor classification, performance report, vendor development plan, vendor ban/suspension and vendor compliance.
- Assess the comparative statement (CS) and assist Management to select the vendors by ensuring the best purchase deal in terms of quality & quantity of products and service level
- Purchase Budget & Forecasting in a large composite textile industries.
- Ensure development and implementation of standard policies and procedures for purchase operation of the company by following the Management instructions
- Analyze trends in vendor pricing and business activity in order to assess present and future market situation to determine appropriate timing of purchase which ensure the best deal.
- Develop and manage relationships with the key suppliers to ensure the effective procurement.
- Supervise the overall purchase planning, forecasting and preparing the yearly purchase budget by analyzing business growth & market price trends and considering place, quality & quantity.
- Drive the cost saving opportunity on budget over the year by initiating possible economic procurement and minimizing avoidable expenses to contribute overall profitability
- Ensure execution of overall purchase as per minimum reordering level and storage capacity of the company
- Negotiate and manage cost reduction on quoted value through vendor interaction and negotiation
- Optimization of Quality, Quantity and Price
- Ensure the product’s specification in time of procurement to reduce the rejection of purchased items and monitor the on time delivery of different suppliers and vendors
- Coordinate with all business concerns of the company and suppliers for on time arrival and receipt of imported products in order to minimize port demurrage
- Ensure effective utilization and optimization of storage facilities of the organization by coordinating with concerned department Cost Optimization
- Ensure the selection of suppliers, effective interaction of vendors and negotiation for best purchase prices of products by considering required quality and quantity of goods
- Verify the stock before purchasing of the ordered products and report on any kinds of discrepancy in reordering level to control the avoidable cost.
- Perform all other procurement and contracting activities including pre-qualification, tender management, negotiation and preparation of contracts.
- Set policy and guidelines for delivering commercial and cost effective procuring process for the business.
- Maintain a close relation with concerned programs, enterprises, accounts department and other internal & external stakeholders in order to ensuring smooth operation at lowest possible cost.
- Identify and research potential new suppliers.
- Research new products and services to meet organization goals.
- Managing and taking prompt actions for emergency purchase in emergency and huge purchase for special occasion.
- Prepare annual procurement planning and provide periodic reporting for management on purchasing, controls and processes.
- Enlistment of Suppliers for new items.
- Teach and educate team members and associates about the procurement process control.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor degree in any discipline
- Preferred Professional Certification: Diploma in supply chain
