Position Description

Responsible for collections in Bangladesh (Locally) and Sri Lanka (Remotely)
Interacting with customer Account Payable departments to chase invoice approvals and payments
Supports achievement of customer Overdue and cash targets
Manage key/critical customer relationships, building collaboration
Includes establishing team work and handover points between PM, OM, CO, CBC, CTC
Challenges any failure in the process preventing fast turn-around of invoices, i.e. disputes
Provide status and trade debtor reports for customer and CT meetings
Supports CBC/Asset Controllers with SoR administration, Due date amendments, provide accurate OD & cash forecasting
Follow-up liquidation cases (if any)

Responsibilities

Responsible to Region Finance for Collections activities
Increases the speed at which customer’s open items move to cash
Proactively tracks and collects Trade Debts & Advanced payments (when cash request is issued)
Provides visibility and supports follow up of invoice disputes
Collaborates with the customer to improve invoice approval and payment lead times
Highlights E2E process improvements when inefficiencies exist
Provides forecast of OD & expected payment of open items for current quarter
Ensure RM Tool correctly represents latest status of AR open items

Key Competencies

Fluent English language skills
Numeracy, MS Excel, SAP, Data Handling Absolute must.
Ability to work on Nokia tools (RM Tool)
Problem Solving / Organization / Prioritization skills
Active listening
Assertiveness and Influencing Others
Relationship building, able to build collaborative partnerships with internal and external teams
Finance or /and economic education from sound university
Business Orientation (Credit / Collections / Sales / OM)
Working across boundaries and with virtual teams
Contract Management knowledge preferable

University Graduate + MBA / CA /CFA inter would be preferred.

Excellent Computer skills mandatory
Fluent English Mandatory.

Has to work across geographies – to support Bangladesh collections locally and Sri Lanka collections remotely
