Description
- Drive Innovation & newness in raw materials and fabrics .
- • Utilize technical expertise to develop fabrics that meet customer design aesthetic & quality requirements
- • Build & maintain a fabric resource library to support seasonal development & reference
- • Approve all development and bulk cuttings
- • Coordinate all spinning and weaving meetings seasonally
- • Travel to fabric shows
- • Coordinate all sample yardage requests seasonally
- • Partner closely with production and marketing strategy .
- • Work closely with spinning, weaving and wet process team on any potential improvement issues with fabric .
- • Recommend fabric construction changes and/or finishing to achieve required hand feel as well as passing test results
- • Creating & managing fabric libraries, both physical & digital
- • Provide design/guide/marketing teams with product knowledge
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Eng & Production, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in manufacturing
- Preferred Professional Certification: Quality Management
- Training/Trade Course: Quality Management
Job Nature: Full-time
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 5 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Fabric Manufacturing, Garments Textile, Wet Processing in Home Textile
Additional Requirements
- Age 25 to 35 years
