RDRS Bangladesh is a national humanitarian and development organization works for rural development by empowering the rural poor in northwest Bangladesh. RDRS was formally established as the Bangladesh field program of the Geneva-based Lutheran World Federation/Department for World Service (LWF/DWS) on 8 February 1972. Its development aim is to achieve sustainable increases in their living standards. With this aim, RDRS enables those who participate in its program to gain the necessary skills, understanding, confidence, institutions and services; and ensure that the rural communities have the necessary economic, social and environmental resources. RDRS employees approximate 3,700 staff and works with a further approximately 1,000 volunteers and daily paid workers. The vast majority of staff are in field positions, with specialist sectoral and support units in Rangpur and Dhaka.

Description
- Assisting in the development of projects/initiatives as per the needs of members of the enrichment programme;
- Assisting in implementation of various activities at the field level including education-assistance, community-based development, youth development, senior development, financial assistance conducted under Samriddhi programme;
- Coordinating work as needed with relevant government offices/departments working at the field level such as Union Parishad, Department of Social Services, Upazila Parishad;
- Facilitate provision of capacity and awareness building training and technical/vocational training where applicable to members of Samriddhi families;
- Analyzing the profit and loss of the activities of the active members of the program and providing advice accordingly;
- Assist in preparation of various program reports.
- Duly perform any duties assigned by the organization in program related matters.
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate
Additional Requirements
- Age at least 25 years
- Excellent Computer skills (MS Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Good interpersonal communication skills .
- Excellent knowledge in spoken and written in both English and Bangla.
