Description

  • Implement all processes of internal governance related with Governing Body
  • Coordinate between SAJIDA Foundation and Governing Body regarding development process and other matters;
  • Liaison with regards to legal and administrative processes nationally and where applicable internationally;
  • Assist the Governing Body as and when required in all internal governance related matters with appropriate research and analysis;
  • Relationships
  • S/he will report to Director Support Services of SAJIDA Foundation. S/he will maintain relationship with Governing Body and General Body Members. The incumbent will maintain liaison and networking with different programs. S/he is expected to maintain functional relationship with other strategic and organizational priorities. S/he is expected to maintain relationship with relevant Government and Non-government agencies at the national and International level.

Educational Qualification:

  • Master of Law (LLM)
  • Post-Graduation in Law is mandatory.

Employment Status: Full-time

Additional Requirements

  • At least 6 years of working experience in relevant field i.e. working with Executive Board, Board of Trustees as company secretary and/or corporate legal practitioner.
  • Ability to Support Governing Body and General Body Members with research, and provide support to organizing Governing Body Meeting, AGM, EGM.
  • Good administrative capabilities and team – working skills;
  • A strong and committed leader with the potential to develop authority, credibility and visibility throughout the organisation;
  • Strategic decision-making ability;
  • Knowledge of country’s changing development landscape, emerging discourse and social, political, economic and legal framework;
  • Understanding on Human Right Based Approach;
  • Excellent in producing briefs, organise and minute meeting independently;
  • Excellent facilitation and advisory skills;
  • A commitment to develop, promote and practice SAJIDA’s vision, mission, values and strategy;
  • Negotiation skill, motivational skill, team building skill is required;
  • Should be gender sensitive;
  • Organised, detailed oriented with ability to multitask under pressure and deadlines;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills both in English and Bangla; whereas proficiency in English is a must.
