Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the supply and procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, stationery and other essentials for Dinajpur unit.
- Analyze the supply market for paddy & rice and provide reports on cultivation, harvest & supply projections to the supervisors.
- Maintain relationship with different paddy & rice vendors and identify alternative suppliers.
- Organize farmer groups for direct paddy purchases.
- Conduct regular market survey and share market price update with the procurement team.
- Monitor daily stock and ensure delivery of paddy and rice.
- Purchase packaging materials for paddy and rice with the necessary approval.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the department head.
- Perform any other task as directed by management.
Education
- Bachelor/Honors
- Professionals with business background will get preference
Experience
- At least 3 years
Additional Requirements
- Age at most 32 years (Flexible).
- Must have experience in supply chain management/procurement with the similar role.
- Must have practical experience in agricultural crops purchasing from local/foreign markets.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
