Description

• Assist to prepare and implement logistics/planning processes for ensuring smooth sourcing and delivery of products and services to meet regional and head office demands.
• Send and Receive Purchase Requisition from Indenting department.
• Prepare RFQ (request for quotation) and circulate through proper channel.
• Collect and receive quotation from vendors, assist to evaluate the quotations and prepare comparative statement.
• Assist to negotiate with vendors to secure the most advantageous terms (rate, delivery & payment term)
• .Prepare Invoice and process for payment.
• Source existing and new products in a most competitive manner in meeting the required deadline
• . Work on warranty issues/claims are handled in an efficient manner
  Maintain effective flow of information to track the work in process of procurement process.
• Maintain minimum stock /inventory of local and imported raw materials, WIP and finished goods to minimize financial
  cost.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards relating to product and process, minimizing defects and returns.
• Maintain Safety and Security of people and company assets.
  Maintain internal and external compliance in procurement processes.
• Work as a team player with cross functions for smooth operation.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement, preferably at a large, diverse organization.
• MBA Major in SCM , Bachelor’s degree required with good academic standing
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task given a high volume of administrative
  requirements
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in verbal and written Bangla and English.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications specially in MS Excel.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  Willingness to travel extensively
