Description

• Responsible for owning the development.
• Focusing on market research, attending fabric shows and interacting with Mkt and buyer
• Driving new denim fabric innovation while aligning with design to keep category relevant and competitive
• Conduct market research to identify new denim fabrics, how they relate to the brand and understand competitive landscape
• Source and develop brand appropriate denim fabric based on aesthetics as well in full alignment with production on sourcing strategy
• Identify and manage opportunities for positioning / plat forming of raw materials in collaboration with the MKT team and sourcing overseas offices.
• Maintain fabric library and sample yardage inventory for in house drapes and samples
• Maintain seasonal fabric charts and design rang and able to prepare own self-designs as per direction.
• Should be able to create files & other documents in an organized way
• To be creative, an eye for color, pattern making design sense & intensity knowledge.
• Team player with proactive interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work hard and control Pressure.
• Open minded approach towards learning new skills and sharpening existing skill.
• Result-oriented and a strong desire for success.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile Technology

Employment Status: Full-time

Experience:

• 3 to 5 year(s)
