Sourcing and Planning Engineer (Automobile)
Description
- To develop and execute purchasing strategies based on business, market, and technology trends and establish strong and competitive supply base.
- To analyze all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing.
- To work with engineering to understand new parts, design changes and communicate those changes to the supplier, while upholding proper sourcing and change management procedures.
- To collaborate with manufacturing to make sure they are fully supported & have everything they need from supply chain to be successful.
- To create RFQs, review, analyze and clarify quotations from suppliers and develop sound sourcing and business recommendations balancing cost, quality, lead-time and technical considerations.
- To ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliance in all the procurement transactions.
Educational Qualification:
- B.Sc in EEE/ECE/ME/Automobile Engineering from any reputed university.
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 year(s)
Additional Requirements
- Age at least 25 years
- Should have knowledge to work with Microsoft Office.
- Should have capability to work under pressure.
- Should have effective verbal and written communication skill.
- Should be proactive, innovative and energetic.
