Incumbent performs duties as Visa Assistant and Fraud Analyst in the NIV Unit of the Consular Section under the supervision of NIV Supervisor, and executes NIV processes including verifying/scanning online DS-160 applications, capturing photos, replying to NIV e-mail inquiries, Security Advisory opinion (SAO) processing and printing of Machine Readable Visas, as well as analyzing the applications, data, and documents for fraud patterns and evidence of attempted fraud. Incumbent performs other duties as assigned.

Description
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Commerce, or Science is required (US equivalent – college studies). (You must attach a copy of your bachelor’s degree certificate along with your application form.)
- Position requires a minimum of two years’ experience in administrative, governmental or para-professional.
- Level 4 (Fluent) English & Bangla Speaking/Reading/Writing is required. Ability to write English at the U.S. high school graduate level is required. Applicant is frequently required to serve as Bangla interpreter for English-speaking colleagues. This may be tested.
- Must be able to perform duties effectively and tactfully in a high pressure workplace; must demonstrate well-developed team skills and contribute to a collegial work environment and must possess expert interpersonal skills. Must possess advanced oral and written English language communications skills.
