Description
- To make sure that chosen fabrics meet the needs of their clients in terms of quality, performance and price.
- To ensure the technical support and carry out analysis of fibers, fabrics and finishes.
- To source new fabrics and work with mills and dyers to engineer products. Carry out color testing of fabrics and approve laboratory dips.
- Liaising with suppliers, design and marketing team to keep up with the upcoming trend fabric and colours.
- Accurately interpreting and representing customers’ ideas and fabric swatches.
- Sourcing new fabrics which can implement in production.
- Experimenting with colour, fabric and texture.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of new design and production techniques and textile technology.
- To face the difficulties if we find any before and after wash.
- Any other responsibility assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements
- Age 30 to 40 years
- Only males are allowed to apply
- Candidates should have strong knowledge about knitting
- Should have strong portfolio
- Creativity and fabric knowledge
- A good eye for colour, texture, fabrics and patterns;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Keen interest in fashion and textiles, and an understanding of trends and materials;
- Understanding and experience of using different textile processes and techniques;
- Good communication and team working skills;
- Ability to work to deadlines and a budget;
- Fluency in speaking and writing in English.
- Good computer literacy.
