Senior Human Resource Executive

Job description

Role: Senior HR Executive

Location: Orchard Road, Singapore

70% of the time doing Recruitment for the education side, they are currently doing massive hiring for their new centres.( North- East Region in Singapore)

Communication and Written skills must be good as he/she is expected to prepare most of the official letters

On boarding duties

He/She is required to handle staff grievances (mature personality)

Corporate Administrative duties (ie : ordering of pantry stuffs, stationary, printing….etc)

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for recruitment process which includes posting job advertisement, screening, interviews, selection, orientation of new recruits.
  • Increase recruitment channels and organisation branding to improve quantity and quality of candidates pools.
  • Develop alternative manpower solutions for high-turnover positions.
  • Consistently review HR policies and procedures to optimize operational efficiency, safeguard the business practices are aligned to and in compliance with the regulations and HR policies.
  • Conduct market salary survey and benchmarking to determine competitiveness.
  • Implement new HR initiatives and programmes aimed at attracting, retaining and developing employees.
  • Assist in the implementation and administration of compensation and benefits programs
  • Manage the employee relations issues and address employees’ grievances.
  • Work closely with HoDs to manage employee performance issues such as PIP and disciplinary matters.
  • Involve in the development and implementation of new HR systems.
  • Update new employee’s data into HRIS and ensure the HRIS database is accurate and updated whenever there are changes to employee’s progression status.
  • Responsible for staff insurance claims administration and assist in insurance policies renewal.
  • Other cross functional projects may be assigned throughout the course of work to align with the organisation’s goals and strategies.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/ Degree in Human Resources Management/ Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in similar capacity, preferably in recruitment.
  • Well-versed with local employment legislation, including application for foreign work permits/employment passes.
  • Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills.
  • An innovative team player, self-motivated, pro-active, independent and meticulous.
  • TIMESOFT knowledge is a must not for payroll purpose BUT to train new-comers on board and training.
