Primary School Examination Results Of Scholarships

প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা সমাপনী পরীক্ষার ফলের ভিত্তিতে  আাগমী বুধবার (২৬ ফেব্রুয়ারি ২০২০) বৃত্তি প্রাপ্ত শিক্ষার্থীদের ফলাফল প্রকাশ করা হবে। এছাড়া এদিন একই সঙ্গে ইবতেদায়ি শিক্ষা সমাপনী পরীক্ষার বৃত্তির ফলাফলও প্রকাশ করার কথা রয়েছে। এবছর সাড়ে ৮২ হাজার শিক্ষার্থীকে বৃত্তি দেবে সরকার। এদের মধ্যে ৩৩ হাজার শিক্ষার্থীকে মেধাবৃত্তি এবং সাড়ে ৪৯ হাজার শিক্ষার্থীকে সাধারণ বৃত্তি দেয়া হবে। বুধবার দুপুর ১২টায় প্রাথমিক ও গণশিক্ষা প্রতিমন্ত্রী মো. জাকির হোসেন এসব ফলাফল আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে বৃত্তির ফল প্রকাশ করবেন।

২০১৯ সালের পঞ্চম শ্রেণির প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা সমাপনী (পিইসি) ও ইবতেদায়ি শিক্ষা সমাপনীর ফলাফলের ভিত্তিতে এ বৃত্তির ফল তৈরি করা হয়েছে বলে জানা গেছে।

প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা অধিদফতর  সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্মকর্তারা জানান, এ বছর পঞ্চম শ্রেণির প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা সমাপনী পরীক্ষার ফলের ওপর ভিত্তি করে সাড়ে ৮২ হাজার শিক্ষার্থীকে বৃত্তি দেয়া হবে। এর মধ্যে মেধা কোটায় (ট্যালেন্টপুল) বৃত্তি পাবে ৩৩ হাজার ৩০০ শিক্ষার্থী। সাধারণ কোটায় বৃত্তি পাবে সাড়ে ৪৯ হাজার। মেধা কোটায় বৃত্তিপ্রাপ্তরা ষষ্ঠ থেকে অষ্টম শ্রেণি পর্যন্ত প্রতি মাসে ৩০০ টাকা এবং আর সাধারণ কোটায় ২২৫ টাকা করে বৃত্তির অর্থ পাবে।

সাধারণ কোটায় ইউনিয়ন ও পৌরসভার প্রতিটি ওয়ার্ডে ছয়টি করে বৃত্তি দেয়া হবে। এর মধ্যে তিনজন ছাত্রী ও তিনজন ছাত্র। এছাড়া ওয়ার্ড পর্যায়ে বৃত্তি প্রদানের পর অবশিষ্ট বৃত্তি থেকে প্রতিটি উপজেলায় বা থানায় দুই জন ছাত্র ও দুই জন ছাত্রীকে বৃত্তি দেয়া হবে। প্রতি বিভাগের শিক্ষার্থীদের ফলাফলের ভিত্তিতে প্রতিটি বিভাগ থেকে তিনটি করে ২৪টি সাধারণ বৃত্তি প্রদানের পর চারটি সাধারণ বৃত্তি সংরক্ষণ করা হবে।

প্রাথমিক ও গণশিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়ের সচিব মো. আকরাম আল হোসেন বলেন, ঝরে পড়া রোধ, শ্রেণিকক্ষে শিক্ষার্থীদের উপস্থিতি বৃদ্ধি ও সুষম মেধা বিকাশের লক্ষ্যে প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা সমাপনী পরীক্ষার ফলাফলের ভিত্তিতে শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে উপজেলাভিত্তিক বৃত্তি দেয়া হয়। ফলে সব শিক্ষার্থী বৃত্তি পাওয়ার প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশ নিতে পারে ও শিক্ষার মান বৃদ্ধি পায়। সমাপনী-ইবতেদায়ি পরীক্ষার ফলের ভিত্তিতে আগামী বুধবার দুপুরে মন্ত্রণালয়ের সভাকক্ষে বৃত্তির ফল প্রকাশ করা হবে।

উল্লেখ্য, ১৭ নভেম্বর শুরু হয় পিইসি ও ইইসি পরীক্ষা। এতে ২৯ লাখ ৩ হাজার ৬৩৮ জন শিক্ষার্থী অংশ নেয়। এরমধ্যে প্রাথমিক সমাপনীতে ২৫ লাখ ৫৩ হাজার ২৬৭ জন ও ইবতেদায়ি সমাপনীতে ৩ লাখ ৫০ হাজার ৩৭১ জন ছাত্র-ছাত্রী ছিল।

It was reported that the result of this scholarship was made on the basis of the conclusion of the fifth grade primary education (PEC) and the termination of Ibtedai ​​education.

Officials of the Department of Elementary Education said that this year, 12,000 students will be awarded scholarships based on the results of the fifth grade primary education exam. Among them, the talent quota (Talentpool) will get a scholarship of 3 thousand 5 students. The general quota will get a scholarship of 5,500. Scholarships for merit quota will be available from sixth to eighth grade at the rate of Tk 5 per month and the general quota will get Tk 225 per scholarship.

Under the general quota, six scholarships will be given to each ward of the union and municipality. Of these, three are students and three are students. Besides, scholarship will be given to two students and two students in each upazila or police station from the remaining scholarship after giving scholarship at ward level. Based on the results of the students of each department, three general scholarships will be preserved after giving three to three general scholarships from each department.
