To strengthen our continuous business growth ambition in Bangladesh, we are currently looking for a competent, committed and dynamic individual to join our S. Alam Cement Purchase Team to fill the following position:
Sr. Executive/Executive (Purchase)
Major Job Responsibilities:
- Implementing purchasing strategies.
- Managing daily purchasing activities.
- Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
- Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
- Coordinating with store to determine and manage inventory needs.
- Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.
- Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.
Academic Requirements and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant subject from any reputed University;
- Minimum 4/5 years of experience out of which minimum 2 years’ experience in Cement industry.
