Description
- The Deputy Manager – Risk & Compliance has a vital role to identify and check current internal control & compliance practices within the Save the Children, Partner Organizations and other stakeholders. The incumbent must ensure that, the activities of Save the Children and partners are in compliance with laws, policies and procedures given by Save the Children Management, SCI Global, Donors’ rules & regulations and directives time to times. S/he will execute internal audits to evaluate the degree of compliance with the internal control systems, generate report on control & compliance weaknesses and submit the report with suggested changes. S/he will also be responsible to conduct investigation and provide fact-finding report with good analytics of cause and effect. The position holder will provide support/guidance to the operations people and be persuasive to resolve the lapse as early as possible to ensure compliance. S/he will conduct regular training and awareness to the staff and other stakeholders to build their capacity to prevent fraud, money laundering, terrorist finance etc. to minimize and manage risk effectively. The Deputy Manger will also be proactive to follow-up on the progress of actions on audit recommendation with the concern key persons irrespective of program and operations as well as assisting them to implement the pending actions.
Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountancy Course Completed with Master’s Degree, preferably in Commerce, relevant additional professional qualifications will be an advantage.

Additional Requirements
- At least 5 years relevant working experience in the ground of forensic audit, investigation, internal control, financial analysis or equivalent. Related professional degree will be given priority.
- S/he is expected to have sound knowledge on accounting components and its interlinkages, thorough knowledge on accounting practices in development organization, good knowledge on NGOAB, different donor’s compliance VAT/TAX and statutory rules and regulations.
- The ideal candidate should have strong audit ethics & professionalism, excellent interpersonal and analytical skill
- Sound knowledge of financial transactions analysis; expertise of conducting investigation and risk assessment; ability to work under pressure; be flexible in challenging situation;
- Proficiency in both spoken and written in English are required with MS Office skills
