Manager – Finance & Accounts

Description

    • Ensure preparation of periodic financial statements of companies under the group in conformity with IASs, IFRSs and Companies Act
    • Ensure preparation of annual business plan (ABP) & bridge analysis for budget variances
    • Conduct financial data analysis of different projects, preparation of feasibility report and highlighting the key issues
    • Review the accounting documentations, reports, data, etc. and report to GFC and Management for appropriate measures
    • Liaison with bank/financial institutions for procurement of loan
    • Ensure effective tax and VAT planning within current legislation and preparation of companies tax return
    • Ensure proper management of treasury & working capital
    • Assist line manager in preparing project/ tender wise budget and make Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) before participating or submitting tenders
    • Assist to internal & external auditors and implementation of their recommendations
    • Review and recommend different types of investments/ project/ tender participation based on risk and return analysis
    • Investigate operational and financial results and make recommendations to management by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends and conducting cost-benefit analyses
    • Assist in searching for creating new business opportunity for Group & review indicators of business activity published by the government and trade associations
    • Create budget and forecast future business conditions using multiple scenarios
    • Create financial models using dynamic spreadsheets
    • Create PowerPoint presentations summarizing the results of analyses and present the results to senior management
    • Drafting various agreements, notes and other inter-official/third party correspondences
    • While this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the responsibilities of the position, management reserves the right to assign any other lawful activities as and when required in the interest of business situation

Educational Qualification:

  • Preferred Professional Certification: CA, CMA

Additional Requirements

  • Age 28 to 35 years
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • Candidate with professional certification like CA/CMA (Certificate Level/Professional Level -2) will be preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience
  • Ability to harness financial data to inform decisions
  • Proven work experience in a quantitatively-heavy role in Financial Management and Budgeting
  • High proficiency in financial modeling techniques
  • Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills
  • Very well organized, capable of building productive internal and external relationships for the organization
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Bangla & English, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and multitasking skills
  • Proven ability to make good decisions in a fast moving environment
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Highly motivated and target driven
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in complex situation
  • Should be sincere, polite, dynamic, hardworking & willing to work under pressure
