Layout & Piping Engineer (Contract)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Establish standard and concept for the work to comply with job requirement.
  • Responsible in pipe routing and equipment layout planning study.
  • Responsible in engineering design works such as plot plan, key plan, Underground and Aboveground piping arrangement, construction isometric and pipe support detail drawing, field fabrication part, etc.
  • Responsible to review information drawings such as civil information, nozzle orientation, vessel clip, instrument component information and process information (piping isometric for calculation of hydraulic delta-p, etc.)
  • Review all internal design check (IDC) documents from all disciplines.
  • Preparation of BOM/BOQ for material requisition, cost estimation and construction work volume estimation.
  • Participate in the studies of ITB, compilation of proposal, and Bid tabulation.
  • Provide technical specification for material procurement and ensure the materials are purchased within budget, timely, and meeting the technical requirement.
  • Coordination work with Civil & Structural, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical, and Fire & Gas interfacing with regard to layout and piping design.
  • Liaise with clients and vendors for technical issues.
  • Responsible in planning, scheduling, quality control of designated project to ensure that objective of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget.
  • Assist construction and commissioning activities (Field/Site works).
Job Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least Degree in Mechanical or Material Engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of piping design experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical industries.
  • Familiar with international codes and standard (especially ASME31.3, ASME, API, PTS, SHELL DEP, etc.)
  • Good knowledge in preparation of engineering specifications and Job instructions for piping designs, insulation, painting etc.
  • Good knowledge in Plant Layout Planning and Detailed Piping Design in view of Construction, Process Flow Scheme, Machinery Operation etc.
  • Familiar with coordination work with Civil & Structural, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Electrical interfacing with regard to layout and piping design.

Junior Project Engineer (Permanent)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the implementation of the project execution plan, the monitoring and control of the Engineering Schedule and coordination with multiple disciplines, vendors and third parties.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Cost Estimation
    – Review the ITB and determines the project/proposal requirements
    – Estimate the Construction Cost (Direct & Sub-con cost)
    – Estimate TOYO-M Field Expenses (Indirect cost)
  • Planning & Monitoring
    – Construction Planning – Compile work volume and finalize work breakdown structure, prepare construction schedule and estimate projected man-hours

    – Construction Execution
    – Construction Progress and Monitoring – handle daily task monitoring by referring to weekly schedule
    – Construction close-out

Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for delivering fire protection facilities/ system and gas detection system engineering design work efficiently and in a timely manner during proposal and project delivery.
  • Planning & Control (proposal stage)
    – study and understand project requirements for F&G system and ensure compliance to ITB, applicable codes and standards plus local authorities requirements.
  • Engineering Design Work
    – prepare engineering design work for F&G in compliance to requirements which involved in the preparation of fire safety design documents and analysis including but not limited to:-
    o Fire Protection System
    o Fire water network hydraulic calculations
    o Fire protection equipment layout
    o Fire and Gas cause-and-effect diagrams
    o Fire and Gas detection layouts
    o Fire fighting and safety equipment specifications
    o Passive fire protection studies

    o Fire and Gas Design & Control Philosophies

  • Installation/pre-commissioning activities and BOMBA matters
    – prepare procedures for testing and pre-commissioning activities, coordinate work between sub-contractors and vendors, construction team and owners
    – participate in the testing and pre-commissioning activities
    – assists authority coordinator to prepare related engineering documents for authority submission.
    – Attend BOMBA site inspection and carry out briefing on technical aspects for the operation
Job Requirements:
  • Candidates must posses Chemical or Mechanical Engineering background from recognized University.
  • At least 2 – 3 years of engineering design experience in Fire Protection System and Fire & Gas Detection System in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical field.
  • Possess positive working attitude in acquiring basic knowledge of multitude engineering disciplines ? Chemical, Instrument, Electrical, Mechanical, Piping Design and Civil.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for delivering instrument engineering design work efficiently and in a timely manner during proposal and project delivery stage.
  • Preparation of instrument datasheet, instrument list, I/O list.
  • Preparation of instrument sizing for flow element and valves.
  • Familiar with IPF methodology and implementation.
  • Control system such as DCS (Honeywell), ESD PLC, mechanical equipment package control system PLC and relay base system.
  • Preparation of loop drawings, interlock logic diagram.
  • Preparation of cable schedule, cable connection list, junction box schedule, etc.
  • Preparation of typical installation drawing, instrumentation hook-up drawings.
  • Preparation of construction drawings such as instrument plot plan, wiring layout, etc.
  • Preparation of Material Take-off for installations.
Job Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess at least a Degree in Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering background.

Utilities Engineer (Contract)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Review and verify engineering design, design calculation, fabrication/construction drawing within the utility packages which include but not limited to equipment, piping, electrical & instrumentation
  • Generate Engineering Specification, Mechanical Datasheet, Bill of Material
  • Produce Material Requisition to Procurement
  • Perform Vendor’s proposal evaluation which includes technical and commercial assessment
  • Coordinate proactively with multi discipline engineer, project and construction division.
  • Support during package fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning.
Job Requirements:
  • Possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university
  • 5 – 10 years of working experience in handling utility related to projects
  • Familiar with mechanical equipment associated with utility system
  • Sound knowledge on common industry utility (water, gas, steam, compressed air, waste water treatment, etc)
  • Accustomed with general rotating equipment such as pumps, agitators, blowers, compressors, etc.
